Our challenge is to organize a Campaign dedicated to Rhino poaching in order to raise awareness in Greece. The last few years, due to rhino poaching in Africa, those pour animals are considered to be endangered species. Poachers remove violently their horns and sell them at incredibly high prices. Rhinos' horns are believed to have medical properties like curing diseases or even cancer in Asia. However, scientists are opposed to that belief, claiming that rhinos' horns haven’t any medical properties. According to statistics, more than 5,940 rhinos have been killed since 2008, about 1,338 rhinos have been killed in the last year. Rhino horn is one of the world's most expensive commodities($60,000) per kilo. Wildlife crime is the fourth largest global illegal trade, according to WWF, after drugs, counterfeiting, and human trafficking.

Our goal is to make this problem known not only in Greece but in as many countries as we can. In a few words, we hope to make our campaign viral. By doing so we believe that we can contribute to local rhinos shelters  which trying their best to protect them from poaching. In this campaign we will publish our ideas and our suggetions in order to achieve this goal.

We have the necessary energy and willness to make this campaign possible and we are open to public all day for further information about it.
